Game related:
GAAAAAAAAAAH YES! I've finally got a hold of that game! (I know I told someone [I know who you are] that I wouldn't get it, but the "Iwata Asks" interview about this game got me tempted and I found a way to get it D: I can't.....heeeelp it. >_<; ) To those wondering....I GOT Mario Kart Wii yesterday [finally, after a week of its release in Aussie!!] It actually sold out in 2-4 days since release, in the 3 stores I frequent to get games from, and I have to wait for a week after release date for them to restock! [my bro was disappointed that we didn't go on the launch of the game to get it, but we couldn't get there that time anyway]

And you know what this means! Those of you with the game...let's exchange Wii Friend codes and RACE! My Wii Friend code is up there above this journal; please comment below with yours! As you can tell, I'm just STARTING to play and getting used to the wondrous wheel. So...I'm just a beginner. Don't have so much high expectations of me, please

My bro isn't really as addicted as me XD; That's for sure.
But he enjoys and loves it. And that is wonderful. (: I sometimes lose a lot to him though....eh...yeah. I lose with dignity at least XD

This game is so nostalgic, as it reminds me so much of the time I played Mario Kart: Double Dash for the Nintendo Gamecube [it was years ago though D: ]. I was somewhat addicted to that game, but in the difficulty levels...I can't get anywhere close to 1st place at all even after countless attempts...and I couldn't play with 2 players that time [only one gamecube controller] so then the addiction waned. BUT this is different with Mario Kart Wii!!! There's heaps of characters and stages AND there's WiFi AND I can now play against my bro! [insert anticipation and joy here] The old courses of previous Mario Kart games make it a bonus [not to mention nostalgic again!!! 8D] and most of the music is quite catchy! I think I have my share of fav mario kart courses, but I need to play some more to be sure first. [I do know is that I found the Rainbow Ride Course difficult XD;] Of course, there are some things I can complain...like in battle mode for the balloon game...I don't know what's happening, as I can't get anywhere near the people/CPU opponents, so I keep losing!!! Another thing is, that people I play against, in continental and worldwide on WFC are usually MUCH better than me [some of which have golden wheels! D: ]....I can't keep up and...lose hahah........yeah, but what do I expect?! I'm still a beginner! I hope to get better...someday, that is. I shall lose with respect! D:< and take the loss proper!

So far, I've gotten King Boo, Diddy Kong and Rosalina from the Grand Prix...and I have played WFC continental/Australia, and worldwide: battle and VS modes. The characters I've tried out so far are: Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Koopa Troopa, Rosalina, Toad, Baby Peach, Baby Mario, Diddy Kong, King Boo...and I need to try out the others and to try the Time Trials. I also still need to try out the different vehicles as I keep sticking to the standard kart or bike, since they're balanced XD; I've tried out in the Competition [note, I tried 3 times] and failed to race in a Ghost race. I've done all the 8 cups but they're all 50cc/beginners mode. You can tell I've played a lot [6 or so hours though] within days of getting the game, since the game keeps my mind active and off my current headache I'm having.

STILL I cannot play a lot of the game....my bro can [] . So.....you guys should play against him too!

My bro's friend code is 3351-4604-6822 BUT you've got to note him your Friend Code to him at ~Lost-Comet as well, of course! [so he knows who you are]

I've got things due, I'm still busy [] and etc...but I will try to get some time to play on WFC, don't worry. My bro still goes under the Mii with the old name: "iceberg" and I'm going under the Mii: "infinity". I will message people sometime too through the Wii, or you can do it first, so we can talk about racing times!

In regard to other games....I also haven't even got past Chapter 1 in Mother 3 STILL....I haven't time to play it.... And I've still got Kirby 64 on the VC to play too....gahhh.....I'll have to wait till the winter holidays. Also in Melee...I'm very bad, very bad at it. *sad*

And my apologies for replying so late! I'll try to reply as soon as I can! It's just that sometimes my comments--they disappear from the message centre when I refresh the page....and I can't get to it, until I refresh it a day later What is happening???

I'm also coming down with a cold since two days ago....my nose is blocked and full of coloured mucus [I have to keep sticking a tissue up my nose TT___TT], I have a bad headache on the side above my tired, teary and smaller left eye and my throat....ack. Feel very tired and drowsy and terrible. And the things I eat are not much flavour...though of course that's what happens when you're sick! XD; It's so cold here nowadays. It's still Autumn!!! I feel...lazy and sleepy....XD; And getting up in the morning feels terrible especially to my head. -___-; In fact, at this moment....I really want to go to bed right now. -______-

I have so much to do though.....but...my headache...! Painkillers don't work much either. I hope this cold goes away soon! *sigh* I have no idea how I've caught this cold. I usually wear heaps of clothes when it's cold. Probably caught it from someone...? Though I don't know anyone that I know who is sick...

ANYWAY, how are you guys going? Tell me about it! Speak up, please! XD; Any games you're busy with?

Also, about art, I'm trying to work on the 1 in 8 Speedsters contest [as you can tell from my scraps]...but I'm just doing it just for fun and to take up the challenge. With all those wonderful entries out there already, I haven't much confidence of my own. This contest is basically a character design contest according to the basic guidelines given and what purpose the characters have, for those wondering.
